Danish Institute for Human Rights

With the National Programme for Human Rights Education, the Danish Institute for Human Rights is strengthening human rights education for children and young people across Denmark. The programme combines engaging learning activities, a national Human Rights Day celebration, a digital learning platform, and partnerships with schools, youth organizations and cultural institutions. It also unites and supports municipalities, educators, and decision-makers in embedding human rights education more firmly within the education system. Together, these initiatives aim to strengthen young people's understanding of and support for human rights, while contributing to the long-term integration of human rights learning across the Danish education system.

Frececo Fonden supports the program through a three-year grant.
